Who we are
Shaker Bar & Bev. Co. is based in Southlake, TX, and has been serving Dallas-Fort Worth couples for over a decade. We are a mobile bar service: there is no storefront to visit, because the bar comes to your venue. That is the whole model, and it is why the service area matters more than the address.
The work is mostly weddings, with corporate parties, galas and private celebrations through the year. What we sell is not really alcohol — it is an evening where nobody queues, nothing runs out, the drinks look like the rest of the wedding, and somebody else clears up at the end.
What we believe about a wedding bar
The bar is the one vendor every guest interacts with. Not everyone sees the flowers up close or reads the menu card. Everyone goes to the bar, usually more than once, and usually at the same two moments as everyone else. That is why we staff one bartender per 75 guests rather than stretching it, and why stock management is a skill we hire for rather than an afterthought.
Prices should be published. Ours are, in full, on the pricing page — every package from $ 15 to $35 a guest, every add-on, every staffing rate, plus an estimator that prices your actual wedding without asking for your email first. Couples budget in spreadsheets, and a vendor who will not give a number until you fill in a form is a vendor who makes that harder.
You should be able to check what we say. Our Google rating is 4.43 from 14 reviews, including two that are not flattering. We have replied to every one of them. Those are linked from the review page so you can read them at the source rather than take a selected quote on trust.
How we work with your other vendors
Planners tend to notice this first. Our crew arrives at least two hours before the ceremony and works alongside the caterer, the venue team and the planner rather than around them, then stays an hour and a half after the bar closes to break down and clear glasses. A wedding planner’s review on our Google profile singles out the end-of-night clean-up as the reason she books us, which is not the glamorous part of the job but is the part that gets remembered by the people who work weddings for a living.
Where we work
Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston. Both metros, with their own pages listing the cities we cover: Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston .
Client to confirm — our own story
Two things this page should say and cannot yet: the year Shaker was founded (The Knot's listing says '10+ years in business' while PartySlate says 'Founded in 2023', and those cannot both be right), and the founding story in the owners' own words. A real founding story is one of the strongest things an About page can carry, and right now this page describes the business accurately but impersonally because we will not invent one.

How our crew works
Top-notch bartenders
Shaker hires bartenders who know their way around a busy bar and how to keep things cool and safe, so guests have a good time and the evening runs smoothly for you.
Smart drink stocking
Bartenders keep the drinks your guests actually want within reach and cut down on leftovers, which keeps the party moving and the cost down. On a BYOB bar this is the difference between returnable bottles and opened ones.
Effortless collaboration
The crew works with the rest of your vendor team rather than around it, from setup through clean-up. Planners are the people who notice this first, and it is what turns up most often in Shaker’s reviews.
Exceptional customer service
Timely service and attention to detail, with bartenders who treat each guest as a guest rather than an order in a queue.
