How a Shaker crew is put together

Staffing is the part of a bar quote couples pay least attention to and feel most on the night. Shaker staffs one bartender per 75 guests, which sets the crew size before anything else is decided: a 150-guest wedding takes two bartenders, a 250-guest wedding takes four. Renting glassware adds a busser, because collecting, washing and returning glasses is a full job and a bartender doing it is a bartender not pouring.

Staff arrive at least 2 hours before the ceremony to set up. Staff leave 1.5 hours after the bar closes, once clean-up is done. Those hours sit outside the bar service window you book, and the clean-up at the end is the thing planners mention most often in our reviews.

Client to confirm — the people

We need, for each person you want on the site: full name, job title, a headshot, how long they have worked in bar and event service, what they specialise in, and any certifications they hold (TABC seller-server certification is the obvious one). Nothing here will be written from guesswork — an invented biography attached to a real person's name is the single worst thing this rebuild could publish. Once these arrive, each person gets their own page with Person schema, and the FAQ and comparison pages get a real human byline instead of a company one.
