How these numbers were calculated. The Google figures were read directly from the Google Business Profile API on August 13, 2026 — all 14 reviews on the Southlake profile, averaged. 12 are five stars and 2 are one star; there is nothing in between. Shaker operates a second Google listing for Dallas which currently has no reviews, so it contributes nothing to these figures and is excluded rather than quietly averaged in.
A marketing audit of this business in August 2026 reported it as “4.2 out of 5 from five reviews”. That is The Knot’s figure only — it missed the Google profile, where there are 14 reviews. Both numbers are on this page.

As a wedding planner, I love using Shaker Bar and Bev! They are very efficient bartenders and best part - they help clean up all the bar drinks at the end! Love this!!!

This team did a truly phenomenal job on our wedding day! They made drinks quickly, kept the bar areas clean, and did an amazing job using the ingredients we provided to mix our signature cocktails perfectly. They were also incredibly accommodating and flexible. Just a week before the wedding, we needed to add a second bar, and they made it completely seamless to scale up and add the extra staff we needed. We had multiple guests tell us after the wedding, "We never had to wait in a long line." If you want fast, professional, and adaptable bartending for your event, look no further!

This company was amazing during the entire process of my wedding planning. Communication was top tier and very informative. I would definitely use them for another event. During my wedding the bar tenders were nice and got everybody good and tipsy! We had an amazing time and the drinks were the best. When it has gone wrong
2 of the 14 reviews on the Google profile are one star. Both are still there, neither has been hidden, and both have a published reply — which is where the “14 of 14 answered” figure at the top of this page comes from.
Client decision — publish the critical reviews?
Both one-star reviews and both of Shaker's replies are already written and ready to render here; the replies are substantive and specific, and one of them explains exactly what happened with a glassware shortfall. Publishing a critical review next to a real reply is one of the strongest credibility signals a vendor page can carry, and buyers trust a 4.4 they can inspect more than a 5.0 they cannot. But publishing a named unhappy couple's complaint on the client's own website is their call, not ours. Say the word and it is a one-line change (SHOW_CRITICAL_REVIEWS in src/data/reviews.ts). Either way, this page keeps stating the real average and the real one-star count.

Two questions: is it pointing couples at Google first (it should — Google is where the volume and the ranking value are, and The Knot second), and is it firing for every event? Fourteen reviews for a decade of weddings is far below what this business has earned, and the gap is almost entirely an asking problem rather than a service one.
