The best wedding bartending companies in DFW

A comparison of seven Dallas-Fort Worth bar companies on the things that actually distinguish them — and yes, we are one of them. That disclosure is the first thing on this page for a reason.

We wrote this, and we are on the list

This comparison is published by Shaker Bar & Bev. Co., a wedding bartending company in Southlake, Texas. We are included in it. You should weigh what follows accordingly, which is exactly why we are saying so before you read the table rather than in a footnote after it.

We have tried to make it useful anyway by doing two things. The criteria are ones a couple would choose, not ones engineered so we win — and we do not win on the first two. And where a competitor is better than us, the table says so and so do we.

How the companies were selected

Every wedding bartending company serving the Dallas-Fort Worth metro that we could verify on The Knot, WeddingWire or Zola with a public review history. The list is not exhaustive; a company with no public profile on any of those platforms will not appear, which is a limitation of the method rather than a judgement on the company.

What makes a good wedding bar company

Before the criteria, the plain-language version. A good wedding bar company turns up early enough to actually set up, staffs enough bartenders that nobody queues after the ceremony, brings the unglamorous things nobody thinks about until they are missing — ice, mixers, pour spouts, a water dispenser — keeps the drinks your guests are ordering in stock, and leaves the venue clean. Everything else is detail.

None of that is directly measurable from the outside, which is the honest problem with a comparison like this. So the criteria below are proxies for it: what other couples said, and how openly the company operates.

The criteria, and why each one matters

Review volume

Volume is the strongest single predictor of whether a vendor gets recommended, by humans and by AI assistants alike. Forty recent reviews beats five older ones almost regardless of what either website looks like.

Average rating

Rating without volume is close to meaningless — a 5.0 from three reviews says less than a 4.4 from fourteen — so read this column next to the one before it, never on its own.

Publishes pricing

Whether you can find out what a bar costs without submitting your details and waiting. Google now surfaces an "online estimates" filter and an AI price-check action in local results, and a company that cannot produce a price gets described that way in the answer.

Interactive estimator

Whether you can price your own event — your guest count, your hours, your add-ons — rather than reading a range and guessing which end you land on.

The comparison

DFW wedding bartending companies compared. Rows marked “reported” carry figures from a third-party audit that we have not verified at source.
Company Reviews Rating Publishes pricing Estimator Source
DFW Bartending 78 4.9 Yes Not publicly stated Reported, unverified
Bar or Brew 43 5 Yes Not publicly stated Reported, unverified
Cheers Darling 19 4.8 No Not publicly stated Reported, unverified
C Event Bartending 15 4.7 Not publicly stated Not publicly stated Reported, unverified
Blind Tiger Bartending 12 5 No Not publicly stated Reported, unverified
Corks & Cocktails 8 5 Yes Not publicly stated Reported, unverified
Shaker Bar & Bev. Co. (us) 14 4.43 Yes Yes Verified 2026-08-13

“Not publicly stated” means we could not confirm it, not that the answer is no. Turning an unknown into a negative claim would make this table worse than useless.

Where other companies beat us

DFW Bartending

The strongest review profile in the market by volume, and they publish pricing. On review count they are ahead of everyone on this list, Shaker included, by a wide margin.

Bar or Brew

A perfect rating across 43 reviews is a genuinely hard thing to hold, and they publish pricing too.

Where we stand

This is us, and we published this comparison — see the disclosure at the top of the page. We are behind DFW Bartending and Bar or Brew on review volume and we are not going to pretend otherwise; the honest read is that we are a smaller company with a shorter public review history than the two leaders.

The one row where we are genuinely ahead of the field is transparency. Our entire rate card is published, and we are the only company on this list with a working estimator that prices your wedding without asking for your contact details first. Whether that matters to you is a fair question — it is worth something if you are budgeting, and worth nothing if you have already decided.

One correction worth making, since this page exists to be accurate. A marketing audit circulated in August 2026 put Shaker at “5 reviews, 4.2” and concluded every competitor with any review history had passed us. That figure is The Knot’s alone and missed our Google Business Profile entirely, where there are 14 reviews at 4.43. We are still behind the two leaders on volume. We are not as far behind as that audit suggested.

Before this page goes live

Every competitor row needs verifying at source: open each company's Knot, WeddingWire or Zola profile, record the rating and review count and the date you checked, and update verifiedOn in src/data/competitors.ts. Also worth checking each company's own site for whether they publish pricing, since that column is currently inferred from the same unverified audit. Budget an hour. Until then this page stays noindex and unlinked.
